This half term we are learning about how we change as we grow, and how change is okay! During our lesson this week we played a game called ‘Change’ where we pretended to be different animals, and changed our movements, actions and sounds each time. We looked at the life cycle of a butterfly and had an interesting discussion about how changes happen, sometimes whether we want them to or not.

The children are so excited to show their baby pictures in our next lesson and are looking forward to sharing ideas about how they have changed since they were very young. If you haven’t yet sent a baby photo of your child and would like to, please share with us at year1@damers.dorset.sch.uk 🙂
