A very big welcome to Year 1, everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

We’ve been busy settling in and it has been wonderful to see the courage of each and every child for joining in our new routines such as lunch in the hall, strand assemblies and (the very popular!) singing practice.

Here are some pictures of a lovely art session at the end of the week where we created some self-portraits – studying our reflection in the mirror, drawing our features and adding the details that make us unique and special! โค๏ธโœจ

Just a reminder that if your child has been booked onto a Sustrans cycling session on Monday to bring their own bike and helmet.

Sustrans have lots of tips for encouraging your child to gain confidence with riding a bike – if youโ€™d like to know more have a look at the video below:
